Open Source VPN Solution - OpenVPN

As one of the VPN protocol, OpenVPN is a highly flexible tunneling application to easily set up a virtual private network over an encrypted connection. It’s more than just pre-shared keys. It depends on OpenSSL, a known SSL library that is being used by most security-related servers, and derives much of its capabilities from OpenSSL.


VPN allows you hide and change IP address, anonymous surfing, unblock content or sites that outside your region. OpenVPN is one of the flexible VPN protocols. It is an open source solution and uses the proven SSL/TLS encryption protocol. It uses all of the authentication, encryption and certification features of the OpenSSL library to secure tunnel IP networks. It’s available for most platforms including Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac OS X, Linux distributions, Solaris, OpenBSD, FreeBSD and NetBSD. It is similar to be plugged into the network once being connected to OpenVPN. 
One of the advantages of OpenVPN is that it needs only one TCP or UDP port for all communication. OpenVPN makes VPN easy to setup and use a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for authentication and key exchange between the VPN server and clients. When used in its default UDP mode on a network, OpenVPN should perform better than L2TP/IPSec. It adapts to a wide range of configurations, including site-to-site VPNs, remote access, Wi-Fi security, and more. Use private tunnel service to access content from the remote region, protect your privacy, secure your Internet access, against malicious attacks, etc.
OpenVPN is a robust and open source VPN solution. As a open source software, it allows networks or computers to be connected in a secure way. Good at bypassing restrictive firewalls, OpenVPN tries to be a universal VPN tool offering a great deal of flexibility.
