How to watch The Mole from anywhere

The Netflix reality series "The Mole" is back for another round of high-stakes competitive action which will have all of us asking one question: Who is "The Mole"? In 2022, the streaming service rebooted the ABC series for a fresh installment of the challenge show, and after a bit of a wait, that reboot has returned to put another twelve competitors through their paces.

Our latest batch of contestants is hard at work taking on all manner of tough mental and physical challenges to add as much money as possible to the pot. The problem is, that one person among them — The Mole — has secretly been enlisted by the show's producers to undermine their fellow players' efforts while trying to avoid drawing suspicion from the other players.

However, a lot of content on Netflix is licensed from third parties that restrict where their content can be viewed. For example, if the owner of a show sold the BBC the exclusive rights to air it in the UK, they will not allow Netflix to show that content to a UK audience. However, they may sell Netflix the rights to air that same show in other countries. Additionally, Netflix may not make some content available in certain countries for social, religious(new window), or political reasons(new window), including Netflix Originals shows and movies.

To watch Netflix content that you’ve subscribed to, but that’s not available in the country you are traveling to, you need to change your public-facing IP address to make it look like you’re back home. Although there are several ways to change your IP address, using a VPN is the most practical for streaming Netflix content. Only a few commercial VPN providers have the resources necessary to reliably bypass Netflix’s IP filters.

How to watch The Mole with a VPN?

  1. Sign up with a VPN that works with Netflix US. We recommend FlyVPN for streaming Netflix.
  2. Next, download and install the app that’s compatible with your streaming device. All of the VPNs we’ve recommended offer apps for desktop and mobile at a minimum.
  3. Log in to the VPN app before connecting to a server in the US. Doing so allows you to get a US IP address so you can access American Netflix.
  4. Go to Netflix. You should find yourself on the US version of the site. Sign in and select the content you want to watch. It should now stream without restriction.
  5. If you find yourself encountering streaming errors or being redirected to Netflix, clear your browser’s cookies. Alternatively, try a different server.

FlyVPN is our top recommendation for unblocking Netflix. FlyVPN has 500+ VPN servers in 40+ countries, so there’s always an available connection to stream Netflix from anywhere. Even with the checks from Netflix, it isn’t a problem because this VPN allows you to change the city for your connection. If Netflix blocks a New York server, you connect to a Los Angeles server. It is straightforward.

If you want to test it for yourself before committing, you can try FlyVPN risk-free backed. FlyVPN offers a free trial VPN service. Simply create an account on the FlyVPN website or in the client or App, and you can get 3 days of free VPN for the first time. After 3 days, you can use FlyVPN 3 times a day, 20 minutes each time.
